Moon Plains is Nuwara Eliya's easy answer to Horton Plains: a sweep of reclaimed grassland on the town's Sandatenna edge, opened to visitors with a network of gravel loops that safari-style jeeps (or strong legs) follow to the escarpment rim - the 'Mini World's End', where the land drops away toward Kandapola and the Uva valleys in a view that needs no entry-gate pilgrimage at dawn to earn.
